| Timbercrete ranch rail can be used for property boundaries,
corrals, golf cart paths, horse trails, walking trails, and any place that a
boundary line needs to be established. Reinforced concrete posts and rails
allow 8' spans, reducing the number of posts and lowering the installation
cost.
Advantages over wood or
plastic fencing
Fencing is usually 3-rail, but both 2-rail and 4-rail are possible.
We also offer an extended (higher) 3-rail which can be very useful for horse
corrals (see ranch rail fencing photo gallery).
The posts are nominal 5" square, with rail slots continuous all the way
through. When the ground is sloping, the end of the rail is tapered by
field cutting so that the fencing follows the ground contour.
Gates are usually addressed by installing a solid post adjacent to the
standard post; gate hinges can either be cast into the post of
epoxy-anchored once the post is installed. Lifetime Concrete
